My name is Jenny Neuhaus, I am 25 years old and currently writing my master thesis on the sea slug species Jorunna tomentosa at the University of Bergen, Department for Natural History. At present, I am taking a class called BIO341 – Biodiversity. Here, we discuss recent papers on biodiversity topics, accompanied by student presentations and small lectures. As part of the individual assessment, I have chosen to publish this blog about citizen science in biodiversity research. In fact, almost all samples in my dataset have been collected by citizen scientists, voluntarily contributing to the project Sea Slugs of Southern Norway.
